Wind energy market Print E-mail
The United States witnessed an impressive growth in its wind energy market over the past ten years. The wind energy capacity has reached a great mark of 24,318 MW by the end of the year 2008. This is a great increase of 28%. The growth in the market is due to the production tax credits that are being set aside in order for these wind energy projects to commence. However, despite the increase that is being said that happened in 2008, many other wind energy market farmers are finding themselves struggling. The predictions state that by the year 2013, we can expect to see abundance in wind energy being utilized all around the world. Presently, Germany is soaring past the US as far as the country that utilizes the most in wind power energy. The wind energy market has gotten quiet a hard blow with the current economic crisis and some large scale wind market farmers are saying that they cannot afford to even keep their turbines up and running, many farmers are selling their turbines off faster than anything. Further growth is guesstimated to happen by the year 2013, however if the Government does not start protecting the wind markets that are presently up and running everyone fears that we will substantially fall back behind in the wind market case. Wind energy is a cleaner and renewable form of energy that should have everyone excited. The sudden interest in wanting a greener and cleaner world only turns more attention towards the avenue for wind energy power. The wind energy market is said to be doing well whenever you speak with Government officials or anyone of that kind, but really speaking with farmers they are stating that they have been forgotten about drastically. It seems like too many funds are being utilized on things that cause destruction opposed to things that will be here to help the economy and everyone out as whole. Wind energy would allow us the opportunity to stop wasting the energy that we have and start utilizing the earth's natural resource to help us out. So much attention is being geared toward people being able to save money during these hard and trying times, that wind energy should be one of the top things on the Governments list. However, inadvertently it is not. They are more interested in other matters then to care about wind energy that has been in the making for over a decade now. Many large wind energy farmers are being forced to sell their turbines in order to help smaller farmers out and in order for them to gain funds to be able to continue utilizing their energy source. Now, if this is a sign of growth, what is a sign of loss?
