Presently wind energy is one of the fastest growing energy sources in the world. Many companies are interested in investing in wind energy as a means to run their companies and cut down on excessive electrical costs. Global wind energy has increased by nearly thirty two percent since 1998. During this time the wind energy investments in the United States have increased by 24.5 percent. Many people are investing in wind energy for a plethora of different reasons. Although the reason on the top of everyone's list is the fact that wind energy is a clean and also renewable source. But, if you believe that investing in wind energy is substantially easy, you are inadvertently wrong about your conclusion. In the United States many companies that are choosing to utilize wind energy are actually smaller in stature. Whatever they do with the wind that they are investing it is a small percentage of things that they also do with their company. For instance a company out of Florida which is one of the largest wind power developers in the US also produces nuclear as well as natural gas as well. General Electric was acquiring that Enron Wind also should create
GE wind energy. But speculations say there is no way that they can invest in just wind energy and be able to still maintain their positive revenue. A lot of people are stating that if you truly want to invest in wind energy you need to begin looking overseas first. The overseas market is actually bustling with a plethora of people turning to utilizing wind energy in comparison to anything else. In Germany presently the wind market is the biggest in the entire world. Many people are looking for Germany's wind market to level off but it doesn't look like it will be doing this anytime soon. You also need to be careful if you are looking in investing in oversea projects as well. Many foreign companies are not listed on the US stock exchange therefore it will be difficult to invest with the different funds that the company has. The Government decided to establish wind energy production tax in 1992 in order to create the necessary finances that were needed in order to start producing this wind energy. However, the tax has been allowed to expire twice within the last decade. It doesn't seem like anyone is relatively that interested in us being able to use the natural resource of wind in order to create a consistently flowing energy source. Many people that are interested in trying to develop this wind energy have to do it in haste before the tax expires again. This energy needs to stay in order to try to produce an energy that is clean and effective. |
