Özbucak, has one of the most modern laboratories in Çukurova. Its aim is to supply better quality fabrics and to prevent possible future defects. All fabric produced goes through the colour, purity, physical and dimensional stability tests.

Physical Research Laboratory

Özbucak's Physical Research Laboratory is fully equipped with the latest technology. Tests made at each step of yarn production ensure that all yarn is of the highest quality.

Waste Water Treatment System Laboratory

The Waste Water Treatment System in Özbucak has a capacity of 5500 cubic meters per day. The Laboratory for the system is designed to measure the pollution parameters of water entering and leaving the system. Within the Laboratory, the determination tests of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D.), the Chemical Oxygen Demand (C.O.D.), amonium nitrate, total chromium, total and free chlorine, sulphur, sulphide, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, solid suspended matterials, are carried out. The aim of these tests is to control whether the waste water discharging from the system has legislating limiting values or not.

Dyeing Laboratory

Özbucak's dyeing and finishing plant has two dyeing laboratories which have different functions. In the research and development lab, research into the development of dyes and chemical materials in the textile sector, and analysis of dyes and chemical materials used at the plant are carried out. Adapting to customer demands of the dyeing department and controlling and making preliminary studies on the processes applied at the plant are also carried out in the other lab.
